EDWIN M. DOTTEN, JR.

A native of New Providence and a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Dotten served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1955 to 1963, at which time he entered private practice in Summit.

His career in private practice has featured a concentration in the areas of complex commercial and municipal litigation and matrimonial law. Mr. Dotten previously served 30 years as the attorney for the Borough of New Providence, and he recently completed an 8-year term as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Summit.

Mr. Dotten currently serves in an "of counsel" position to the firm, and consults with firm members on a regular basis to lend insight and expertise to handling of the firm's cases.

R. JEFFREY HARTLAUB

Mr. Hartlaub, a life-long Summit resident, attended Franklin and Marshall College, and received his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University. He specializes in residential and commercial real estate, estate planning and administration, and general corporate matters.

Mr. Hartlaub served as counsel to the Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights Board of Realtors for twenty years, until the Board's dissolution in 1997. He is recognized as an expert in all facets of residential and commercial real estate, and has been a frequent guest on local television and radio talk shows; he also lectures extensively on residential real estate matters and real estate broker relationships. Mr. Hartlaub also specializes in estate planning and administration. He serves as general counsel to the Kinedyne Corporation (annual sales in excess of $20 million), as well as to numerous other small companies, and is a trustee of several charitable foundations.
