MICHAEL D. MEZZACCA A resident of New Providence and a graduate of New Providence High School, Mr. Mezzacca was graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 1989. He earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1992, and gained admission to the New Jersey and Federal District bars the same year, and is certified by the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney. While associated with a local general litigation firm from 1992 to 2002, Mr. Mezzacca practiced in a variety of areas relating to general and commercial litigation. He has practiced extensively in State and Federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. In ten years of practice at his former firm, Mr. Mezzacca had primary responsibility for an array of litigated matters ranging from environmental, professional negligence, premises liability, contract and other commercial disputes, personal injury, construction and employment. Mr. Mezzacca effectively utilizes ADR procedures including mediation and arbitration, but when such measures are unsuccessful or inappropriate he is a highly competent and respected trial advocate, having successfully tried a variety of cases to conclusion. On the appellate level, Mr. Mezzacca has been involved in several cases that have generated published opinions.
HARRY K. KO
Mr. Ko is a graduate of Drew University and Seton Hall University School of Law; his practice focuses on general and commercial litigation, residential and commercial real estate, and estate administration. Prior to joining Hartlaub, Dotten & Terry, P.C., Mr. Ko was associated with Schottland, Manning, Caliendo & Thomson from 2000 to 2004, where he served as a civil litigation associate representing clients in both state and federal court. In addition to his extensive litigation experience, Mr. Ko has served as corporate counsel to various organizations and private businesses located throughout the state. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Ko was employed by The Arc, Morris County Chapter, where he served as Coordinator of the Morris County Adaptive Recreation Program, an award-winning program for individuals with developmental disabilities. Mr. Ko is an avid lacrosse fan, having been involved with the sport as a player at both the high school and collegiate levels, and as former head coach of the Madison High School varsity team. He resides in Scotch Plains with his wife and young son, and is active in a variety of community and volunteer organizations and activities.
